Japan 2010
Japan 2010

We spent three weeks in Japan in May 2010. For two of these weeks we travelled around Japan by rail, bus and boat to places where tourists are supposed to go. That part of the trip was an organized tour by GAP Adventures (a Toronto based outfit). They provided accommodations, transportation and few other goodies - including the guide. There were 14 of us - and we could have been parents of all of the remaining co-travellers. Despite that, we did very well - at least this is what we think!

The remaining week was spent in Niigata - a venue for ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 7 Plenary Meeting location. There, Anatol was working and Chess spent time visiting - weather permitting as it was quite lousy most of the time.
